Installation December 2022
Project Scope
This client contacted us with the goal of removing their grass, building a safe haven for wildlife and creating a more open and inviting entrance to their home. We started by bringing in Greencraft Landscape to remove their lawn and 50+ ficus hedges that were guzzling water, casting shade and making their front yard feel cramped. We then sheet mulched the yard and parkway and replanted the entire space.
In the center of this garden is a native meadow flowing with wildflowers and grasses (detailed below), suitable for children to explore + play. Using California native plants, we created a place for both wildlife and people to enjoy together.
