The Native Plant Garden Tour is a self-guided tour across Greater Los Angeles.
Since 2003, more than 700 public and private landscapes have participated in the Native Plant Garden Tour. Ranging from coastal container gardens to modernist foothill estates to experimental urban homesteads, each unique design offers beauty and critical habitat for wildlife. The gardens on this tour contain at least 50 percent native plants.
Featured on the 2023 tour at just five months old, Jack’s garden is back and better than ever! This 2,300 sq ft corner lot was boring turf grass for decades before re-planted in November 2022 as a part of the LADWP turf replacement program.
